The Crime Report (TCR) is a multimedia information and networking resource based at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York. Published daily online, Monday through Friday, the award-winning site is staffed by working journalists in New York, Washington and Los Angeles; and provides comprehensive reporting and analysis of criminal justice news and research in the U.S. and abroad.
Criminological Highlights is designed to provide an accessible look at some of the more interesting criminological research that is currently being published. Its focus is on research that is policy relevant. It is produced by a group of about a dozen academics and professional librarians including faculty from the University of Toronto and nearby universities and doctoral students at the University of Toronto. The project is directed by Anthony Doob and Rosemary Gartner.
The National Institute of Corrections (NIC) is an agency within the U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons. The Institute is headed by a Director appointed by the U.S. Attorney General. A 16-member Advisory Board, also appointed by the Attorney General, was established by the enabling legislation (Public Law 93-415) to provide policy direction to the Institute.
