We are dedicated to serving all Norwich students and faculty, whether online or on-campus. It can be challenging to do research online as a distance learner, especially if you have been out of school for a while or have not used online databases. Our goal is to make the research process as easy as possible.
We want to enable our online and distance students to do professional and scholarly research without leaving home. Our team of librarians are available to assist you via email seven days a week and throughout the week via our instant messaging service, which is embedded on the library website and in several of our databases.
We strive to offer as much online content as possible, and provide access online databases, full-text electronic journals, and e-books, all of which are accessible to our online students. Additionally, the Library provides interlibrary loan services for journal articles not available in online or in the library's electronic collections, and mail delivery for physical items in the library's collections.
Our team of librarians is here to assist you throughout the entire research process. In addition to email and chat assistance, we offer curated research guides for many online courses and programs on our Research Guides page.
If you need more in-depth assistance, you can schedule an online research consultation with one of our librarians! We can assist you with:
