Limit your search to book review (under Document Type on the Advanced Search page) and Scholarly (Peer-reviewed) Journals.
This annual publication contains reviews of the 200 most notable books published in the previous year. Works reviewed include both fiction and non-fiction, English-language and non-English-language. In addition to the review essay, each title includes a short annotation and additional review sources.
All issues of Magill's Literary Annual back to 1977 are searchable on the Salem Press platform. Start with a search for a title or author, then select Magill's under Refine Your Search to limit results.
H-Net provides full-text scholarly book reviews, 1993 to date, in the humanities and social sciences.
Many of the databases in your subject area will contain book reviews. You can try doing a search for your book's title or the title with the addition of the word "review." To find scholarly reviews: limit your search to "scholarly," "peer-reviewed," or "refereed" journals.
