The Atlantic

The Kreitzberg Library is pleased to offer NU faculty, staff, and current students complimentary digital access to The Atlantic. Access includes unlimited access to TheAtlantic.com and The Atlantic iOS and Android apps, subscriber exclusive newsletters and live events, and the digital library featuring audio articles, special issues, and more. 

Accessing The Atlantic

To access The Atlantic on the web, you can use the link below:

The Atlantic can be accessed directly from the SSO dashboard; just look for the Atlantic SSO app. 

The Library's access to The Atlantic also allows you to use the iOS and Android mobile apps. To login on mobile apps, follow these instructions:

  1. Open The Atlantic app. 
  2. Tap the Account Settings icon in the upper right of the Home page.

  3. Select "Sign In", then select "Sign in through your institution" from the options on the screen. You may need to scroll down to see this option.

  4. Use the dropdown menu to Select Norwich University. 
  5. You will be prompted to authenticate through single-sign on (SSO), using your Norwich University email address and password. If you are already signed into SSO on your device, you may not need to enter your email address and password.
  6. After signing in, you should now see "Institutional Subscriber" listed at the top of the account menu, as well as additional settings for the application.

What if I already subscribe to The Atlantic?

This subscription does not get attached to your personal Atlantic account, and you will not be prompted to check for a subscription before signing in. If you would like to cancel a personal subscription to the Atlantic, instructions can be found on their Help Center.
