The MLA International Bibliography is a detailed bibliography of journal articles, books and dissertations.

The example screenshots below show a search for articles about Arthur Conan Doyle.

• Change the search field from Select a Field to SA Primary Subject Author from the drop-down menu.
• Write out the name of the author as Last Name, First Name.
• Click the green Search button to retrieve search results.

This search returned 2,205 results.

• Check the box next to Scholarly (Peer-Reviewed) Journals from the options on the left to show just scholarly journal articles in your search results.
• To read the article in full, click on either the HTML Full Text or PDF Full Text link (depending on what is available for that article).
• If the full text is not available, click on the Check for Full Text button. This will allow you to search in other databases or request it through Interlibrary Loan.
