What are the tactics and manipulation techniques used to mislead people and build up an online following? Bad News is a web-based game that improves your ability to spot manipulation techniques in social media posts.

Bad News was developed by researchers at Cambridge University and DROG (a Dutch organization working against the spread of Disinformation), and the English release is published by Tilt Studio. This game is intended for players ages 14 and up; additional information about the intended audiences for this game, as well as sensitivity warnings, are included under the About menu on the game's landing page.
