Find and Use eBooks

Finding Library eBooks

The library has hundreds of thousands of eBooks in our collection. We have two major eBook providers: Ebook Central and EBSCO. 

  • To start finding eBooks that you can request, click on the Books option from the icons above the search box.
  • Then, type in your keywords into the search box and hit enter.

Selecting eBooks from Results List

When searching the Kreitzberg Library, electronic books are part of your results.

  • eBooks can be identified in a list of results by the View eBook button.
  • You can also check the box next to eBook under Format from the menu on the left narrow your results to show only eBooks available through the Kreitzberg Library.
  • If you come across an ebook you would like to read, click the View eBook button and it will open in another browser tab.
  • Click on the title link to see information about the eBook (such as a summary) and which databases have access to this eBook.

Identifying eBooks in search results

See the Book's Record for More Information

If you prefer to see a bit more information about the book first, click on its title link.

  • You can find a summary of the book's contents under the Description section.
  • Scroll down to the Availability section
  • Click on the View eBook link to open and read the book in one of our eBook databases.
