The Norwich University Archives collects, preserves and provides access to the written and still photographic records of the University and the personal papers of its alumni, faculty, staff, students, trustees, and other affiliates.
Like most archives, our collections are non-circulating, meaning that they can't be checked out or sent through ILL. This guide will show you how to access our collections and services whether you are studying on or off campus.
Our public reading room is located on the 5th floor of the Kreitzberg Library. The reading room is open to all from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM on weekdays, year round. During these hours, anyone is welcome to visit without an appointment or special permission. All of our collections can be used in the reading room, and reproduction services (copying and scanning) are available free of charge.
Some collections require 48 hours' notice to be made available in the reading room, due to off-site storage. This will be noted in the collection guide, which you can learn more about in the How to Research tab of this guide.
