Artifact Records
To view details related to the artifact, you can view the artifact's record.
- From the results list, click on the title of the artifact.
- At the top of the page will be a preview of the artifact. Below the preview is the artifact's record. You'll find the following information:
- The artifact's Content Object Identifier
- The artifact's title
- Date of publication
- Options to view, cite, save the artifact to a personal account, or share the artifact
- A brief description of the artifact
- Related terms
- Bibliographic details, such as number of articles, pages, place of publication, series, and source
- Mentioned organizations
- Table of contents (if applicable)
- Selecting a Mentioned Organization will show you additional artifacts that are related to that organization.
View and Download Artifacts
From an artifact's detailed record page, select the "Read" option to view the full text of the artifact. This will open the transcript of the artifact, when available.
At the top of the transcribed document, thumbnails of the original are visible. Clicking on the thumbnail will open a digitized version of the original document.
On the upper left side of the viewer, there are options to print and download the document, as well as an option to switch the viewer to dark mode or full screen mode. There's also a menu which allows you to navigate through the document and adjust the viewer's behavior.
