Processors Periodical

A new school year has started and we couldn't be more excited. Here are some of the terrific projects and notable new acquisitions we've been working on since the summer.

Slides, Slides, and more Slides

We have been processing a LOT of slides as you can see! We love to stumble across gems like this collection from Korea in 1951.

Polemic Society of ALS&M

We were absolutely delighted to receive this manuscript which also held two surprises! One of our NU friends found this in their attic--the minute book of the Polemic Society of ALS&M. Academy (American Literary, Scientific, and Military Academy), which, as you may know, was the precursor to Norwich University. Learn more about ALS&M here in the Alden Partridge collection. Once we have finished processing the book you'll be able to view it when you come visit the Archives. The surprises inside the manuscript didn't end with this unique bit of history; we also found a letter from Alden Partridge and a hand-painted bookmark.

Abd just to prove that big things sometimes come in small packages, check out this Class of 1913 NU Junior Prom dance card. This came to us from a donor whose entire family has attended NU over the years, including currently.

We encourage you to come to the Archives and ask about these materials or some of our many others!
