Use Online Reference Sources

Information on the different kinds of online reference resources.

Conducting a Search

Credo Reference is a collection of digital reference titles. The content includes a wide range of general reference titles together with a large collection of subject-specific books.

In the screenshots below, I'm going to demonstrate conducting a basic search for information related to the Wars of the Roses. Some searching tips include:

  • Don't worry about using quotation marks to distinguish phrases.
  • If you want to do a more complicated search, use the Advanced Search option.
