CRL purchases certain research materials via the Demand Purchase Program for their member libraries. These materials include:
If you locate materials in one of these categories during your research and believe they fall into CRL's credentials for On Demand Purhcases, please submit an Interlibrary Loan Request.
Our ILL office will request the purchase from CRL. Do note this process can take considerable time (weeks) depending on where items are being purchased from and there is a purchase limit per patron, but it is very generous. If you are not sure the item you are interested in qualifies, please contact our ILL office.
Though we are not able to extend CRL's interlibrary loan services to online students, their on demand digitization service is a very close substitute!
If you located materials through the CRL catalog you would like to consult, submit an Interlibrary Loan Request.
Our ILL office will request on demand digitization from CRL. If the materials are not in the condition to be digitized, you will receive a cancellation notice. The turnaround for on demand digitization is generally 3-5 business days, but can vary depending on the size of the request and the condition of the material. So do plan accordingly.
