Assistive Technology Available on Library Computers
The following assistive technology is available on the public computers in the Kreitzberg Library:
Read and Write Gold
Designed to assist individuals with learning related disabilities. The software offers assistance with reading, writing, and includes a talking calculator. Read and Write Gold is available on the public computers in the library and requires no specific permission to use.
Windows Accessibility Features
Ease of Access Center is a central location that you can use to set up the accessibility settings and programs available in Windows.
Open Ease of Access Center by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Ease of Access, and then clicking Ease of Access Center.
Note on headphones:
Students may bring their own headphones or check out headphones from the Circulation Desk. Students using any application with an audio function are required to use headphones so that they do not disturb other patrons using the library.
